Extension of 5% tax rate
As of July 1, 2020, a reduced tax rate of 5% was introduced for restaurant and catering services, accommodation services (hotels, camping) and the publication and culture area due to the corona. This regulation was limited to December 31, 2020.
The 5% tax rate will now be extended for all of the above services until December 31, 2021.
Newspapers and other periodical publications, for which the 10% tax rate will apply again from January 1, 2021, are excluded from the extension
